This page explains how to permanently delete your Civil Discourse Labs account and what happens to your data when you do.

How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your account directly from the Civil Discourse Labs app:

Open the Civil Discourse Labs app
Go to Settings
Tap Delete Account
Confirm the deletion when prompted

Deletion is immediate — your account and all associated data are permanently removed as soon as you confirm.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

Your account and login credentials
All analyses you have created
Conversation history
Feedback you have submitted
Personal data, including your email address and preferences

Third-Party Services

When your account is deleted, we also remove your data from the third-party services we use:

Paddle — your subscription is canceled
Resend — your email address is removed from our mailing lists

Data Retention

Nothing is retained after deletion. All user data is permanently removed. There is no retention period — deletion is immediate and irreversible.

Shared Analysis Links

Any analysis links you have shared with others will stop working after your account is deleted.

Alternative: Request Deletion by Email

If you are unable to delete your account through the app, you can request deletion by emailing [email protected]. Please include the email address associated with your account.
